Fairmont Chateau Whistler
2.5d Image Parallax

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler were looking for images that represented our four distinct seasons. These needed to be a slow seamless loop for large form projection.

Images were broken up into layers using Photoshop and prepped for animation in After Effects. Each layer was placed in Aftereffects and depth maps were used to give these layers a 3d feel. Once these layers were added the camera was animated to show the parallax. Particulates, fog and clouds were added to give a finishing touch.
